The Return to Throw Program is built for competitors coming off injury who won't settle for just "healthy enough." The bar here isn't clearance to play. It's performance that exceeds where you left off.

Arms get hurt again when workload gets mismanaged. Most programs only count mound pitches and hard throws, ignoring warm-ups, catch play, long toss, and recovery-day intensity. We use Driveline Baseball PULSE monitors to measure every throw and tell us if you're throwing too much or too little, too hard or not hard enough. PULSE improves your execution of the training program and keeps you on track with your player development plan. It replaces ambiguous guidelines with clear, repeatable instructions that improve your process and your results.

How It Works

Rebuilding in Stages

01
Assess
A full movement evaluation, injury history, and baseline performance testing, built from your individual profile, not a template. We map the exact path back before a single throw is prescribed.
02
Rebuild
The foundation for throwing capacity is built through accumulated reps and progressive exposure. Driveline PULSE monitors track every throw: warm-ups, catch play, long toss, mound work, keeping you on track with your plan and improving your execution at every stage.
03
Progress
Structured long toss and progressive throwing exposure, paired with mechanical work that sharpens efficiency and rebuilds trust in the arm. Volume rises with proven capacity, driven by PULSE-tracked readiness, not guesswork.
04
Compete
Full-intent throwing, mound work, and live competition, backed by arm durability, clean mechanics, and total confidence. Readiness dictates the timeline, never the calendar.

Common Questions

Return to Throw FAQs

Is this only for pitchers?
No. The program is built for any overhead or throwing athlete recovering from injury, including position players and catchers.
Do I need clearance from a doctor to start?
If you've had surgery or a formal diagnosis, we recommend having clearance from your physician before starting a throwing progression. Scott's background as a DPT means he can work alongside your medical team throughout the process.
How long does the program take?
Timelines vary by athlete and injury. Your program length and pacing are determined during your initial assessment, based on your specific case and readiness at each stage.
How do I get started?
Enroll above to schedule your initial assessment: movement evaluation, injury history, and baseline performance markers, so we can build your personalized throwing progression.
